DISC

DISC stands for Dutch Indies Singles Club, a collaboration between four dutch indy Labels (Excelsior, Zabel, Living Room and Rara records). They release four matching 7 inch singles with two bands each. While the first release holds Blues Brother Castro & Alamo Race Track on a split single, the second contains a song from Audiotransparent and us. Autiotransparent especially recorded a (beautiful) new song for this release. Douwe Smit remixed a song from our full length, and we in turn added new material. The result is an unusual experimental track. The 7 inch is still available.

Remix by Douwe Smit

Douwe Smit, a good friend of ours, remixed the song “Snow Cushioned the Fall” from our album ‘we too are concerned | we are too concerned’. We used that opportunity to add some more instruments to it and release the track on the vinyl split with audiotransparent for the Dutch Indie Singles Club (DISC). You can download the track here soon.
